Team Fox for Parkinson's Research
Mark your calendar now! The Harlem Ambassadors will be playing against Northern Colorado All-Stars in a fundraising event to benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation to fight Parkinson's disease at 7:00 p.m. on April 21, 2011, at Mountain View High School in Loveland, Colorado.
Team Fox will be led by Tamika Catchings, an eight-time WNBA All-Star, a member of two USA gold medal-winning Olympic teams, and Indiana Fever team leader in the 2009 WNBA Finals. Team Fox will face off against the Harlem Ambassadors coached by Lade Majic, the Queen of Show Basketball and University of Missouri Hall of Famer.
The Harlem Ambassadors are hosting the event to raise funds for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research which has funded more than $223 million in research that can lead to the creation of better Parkinson's treatments. Ambassadors' president Dale Moss was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
